So, it has been over 2 years since my last post, in which I was hoping to write more often........ Guess that worked out real well, LOL......
Anyways...... Last October I was put on disability for my severe and chronic back issues as well as the aggressive arthritis that has afflicted my hands and wrists...... After many different attempts my Doc has finally found something that works for the pain, well, at least a bit more substantially than anything else he had me try....... Which makes it bit easier to make it thru the day.......
And thankfully the retroactive SS settlement afforded me the opportunity to get my car fixed, buy a new bed that is better for my back to sleep on, and get a new recliner which is also way better for my back..... And I was able to give my kids a really great Christmas...... I know it's not about how much you spend on them or how many presents are under the tree...... But for all the years of living paycheck to paycheck and having to scrape by and not really be able to afford them most things they wanted and wished for, well it just really felt good to be able to afford to get them some things that they wanted.......
Also last October was my 20th HS reunion, Class of '95..... Well, actually I didn't graduate in '95, I had to go back for a 5th years for 4 stupid credits cuz my transcripts got messed up...... But be that as it may, some of my classmates on the committee insisted I go as I was in that class since 7th grade when I got skipped up........ So anyways, I went, and I had an amazing time...... I caught up with old friends and hung out and chatted with people who I wasn't friends with at all back in the day....... I guess it goes to show what 20 years and adulthood can do...... LOLOL
Today is July 31st, 2016...... And in less than 2 weeks is the 20th reunion for the Class of '96, which was the actual year I graduated...... And, I have again been told that they insist that I go....... I'll have to see what happens at this one, I'm just hoping for the same friendly atmosphere as the other one...... And hey, I guess it's not bad when you're invited to double dip, HAHAHA!!!
This past week both of my gurlz finished up summer school...... So this coming school year both of them will be in high school...... Man, that's such a scary thought...... To think, they were only 3 and 1 when I got custody of them, and now they are 16 and 14....... I guess one wonders where the time goes......
Last November I pre-ordered the new Legion expansion pack for World of Warcraft...... Now I'm just counting down the days..... August 9th is start date for early play on the new Demon Hunter class that's available if you pre-ordered....... and August 30th is the release date for play in the new expansion world wide...... I'll finally have lots of new content to keep me busy when I can't sleep and I'm up all nite......
Since I started playing WoW in 2011 I have always played on the same realm and in the same guild...... After all these years, most all of the guild members have switched realms or stopped playing altogether...... So I think sometime in the next few months I am going to switch realms for my main toon and join the guild where some of my old guild mates have gone...... Lots of active players, and players who like to help out and do dungeons and LFR...... Seems like a pretty good guild to join!!!........
Now, I just can't wait to start leveling up my Demon Hunter!!!
